We have a new star of the blog, the gorgeous little Edith who loves her grey Sleepytot comforter!
Ten month old Edith is a special little girl. Her Mum, Louise says she is her ’Miracle’ baby.
Unfortunately Edith was born with a condition called ‘Vein of Galen Malformation’ which is a rare brain aneurysm.
At just 10 days old Edith was airlifted to Great Ormand Street hospital after going in to heart failure. With only a 50% chance of surviving and 20% chance of being left with few complications Edith’s family are lucky that GOSH saved her life.
Vein of Galen malformation only effects around 10 babies in the UK each year and it can only be treated in Great Ormand Street (GOSH) and Glasgow Hosipitals.
Edith’s family are obviously extremely grateful to GOSH and are now raising money for Great Ormand Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSHCC).

We are over the moon to see Sleepytot offering comfort to such a special little girl and we hope Edith continues to recover well and is eventually cured. xx
