Here at Sleepytot, a common question we get asked is how to introduce the Sleepytot Bunny to a little one.
After receiving this question recently from a mum on our Facebook page, we decided to send out the question to our Sleepytot Facebook family to hear their experiences.
Thanks for all the great feedback and advice that was posted on our Facebook page. It’s great when parents share their practical advice with others. We thought we’d share some of the feedback here to help as many parents as possible:
“I attached it to a dummy and gave it to him when I had my snuggles with him or let him sleep on me. So even when we were out and he needed to sleep, I’d just need to hold him, give him his Sleepytot and dummy and he’d settle and sleep easy.” Amberley
“We put 4 dummy’s on it & just left it loose in the cot, took about a week for my little guy to get the hang of it.” Laura
“Same as Laura but took our 7mo about a day to bond with it” Katy
“Our healthcare visitor recommended the sleepytot when I asked for advice because of having to wake up every hour to hour and a half to give him his dummy, he was 5 and a half months old and it was suggested that we put 4 dummies on and from introduction never give him a dummy give him the teddy … He soon learnt if he could find his teddy he could find comfort and he takes it everywhere!” Lydia
All great advice from parents with ways to introduce the Sleepytot baby comforter to your little one.
In addition, we recently published a post on our blog with some suggestions on how to introduce a night time baby comforter to your little one so check this out too if you want some advice. 6/introduce-night-time-baby-comforter
